"Challenging Boundaries in Nursing Research: Integrity, Technology, and Global Impact" was the theme of the 19th edition of the International Seminar on Nursing Research held at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. The event was attended by numerous PhD students in Nursing, as well as researchers and faculty members, who gathered to promote the sharing of knowledge and the discussion of research work.
The seminar, which took place on April 2nd and 3rd, featured a diverse academic program, consisting of four lectures given by national and international researchers. During the meeting, 17 free communications were presented and 48 scientific posters were displayed, demonstrating the diversity and high level of research projects developed in academic and clinical contexts.
The success of this seminar became evident through the participants' testimonials, who highlighted the relevance of the initiative for the advancement of Nursing research. Carolina Monteiro, a member of the event's organizing committee, stated that "it was an honor to be part of this team and that this event exceeded expectations, standing out as an excellent space for the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the creation of collaborative networks among researchers from different institutions and countries, significantly contributing to the advancement of Nursing research."
"Incorporating the organizing committee of the 19th ISNR was a profound exercise in commitment to scientific integrity, where the discipline of Nursing affirmed its place in the dialogue between science and care. In this event, research was not just a topic—it was a living practice, anchoring each sharing and appealing to ethical commitment and openness to innovation. It was a privilege!" said doctoral student Inês Abalroado.
