The Symposium on Wounds, Ostomies, and Incontinence is part of the Advanced Course in Wounds, Ostomies, and Incontinence, promoted by the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing.
This event aims to deepen knowledge about three often undervalued clinical conditions (Wounds, Ostomies, and Incontinence).
Scientific and technological advancements have driven new approaches in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of these conditions, and the symposium intends to reflect on the significant challenges they pose to healthcare systems, patients' quality of life, and the sustainability of care.
This symposium proposes to integrate multidisciplinary knowledge, robust clinical evidence, and technological innovation, promoting a space for critical discussion and applied reflection with the goal of fostering clinical practices based on the best available evidence and contributing to the excellence of healthcare.
