The Aggregation Exams of Professor Doutor Paulo Jorge Pereira Alves will take place on April 17, at the Centro Regional do Porto of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The session will be held in two moments, at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm | Auditório Carvalho Guerra.

11:00 am – Evaluation of the scientific curriculum by Doutores Jorge Manuel da Silva Junqueira Polónia, Professor Catedrático Jubilado of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto, and Alexandre Lemos de Castro Caldas, Professor Catedrático Jubilado of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The analysis of the report concerning the programme, content and theoretical and practical teaching methods of the course unit “Métodos de Investigação II - Doutoramento Enfermagem” will be carried out by Doutores Maria Emília Carreira Saraiva Monteiro, Professora Catedrática of the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and Miguel Castelo-Branco Craveiro Sousa, Professor Catedrático of the Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade da Beira Interior. The evaluation of the curriculum and the report, as well as the respective discussion, will last a maximum of two hours.

3:00 pm – Synthesis lecture presented by the candidate and its critical appraisal by Doutores António Carlos Megre Eugénio Sarmento, Professor Catedrático Convidado of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto, and Paulo Sérgio de Matos Figueira da Costa, Professor Catedrático Jubilado of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa.

The synthesis lecture will last sixty minutes, and its discussion may take, at most, the same amount of time.
