PUBLIC NOTICE FOR AN INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF DOCTORAL RESEARCHER
The Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Prof. Dr. Isabel Capeloa Gil, hereby announces the opening of an international call for applications for one vacancy of doctoral researcher principal, with an exclusivity clause, to perform duties of scientific research, in the scientific field of Nursing Ethics and Palliative Care. The research activities will be carried out at the Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar em Saúde (CIIS), integrated at the Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde e Enfermagem of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto within the framework of the FCT-Tenure first edition call by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (FCT,IP), and its call procedure (articles 17, 19 and 28 of the Regulamento do Emprego Científico – REC).

Doctoral researcher principal
Admission requirements
a) Holders of a Doctoral degree in Nursing or Health Sciences.
b) Participation as Principal Investigator in at least one research project funded by relevant entities (such as the FCT, European Union, among others), in the areas of Health Sciences, Ethics, Palliative Care, or in innovative and interdisciplinary healthcare approaches for vulnerable populations.
c) Post-doctoral experience or research contract in Health Sciences, Nursing, Ethics, or Palliative Care
d) Have published at least five scientific articles in journals indexed in SCOPUS in the last five years, with an emphasis on Health Sciences, ethics and palliative care.
e) Participation in the development of at least two activities, for the extension and dissemination of knowledge, with a special focus on the promotion of scientific culture and the connection between research and society.*
