The Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde e Enfermagem da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) will hold a One-Day Winter School, integrated into the Doctorate in Nursing. This initiative is developed in partnership with Boston College and supported by FLAD funding under the UP Ensino Superior Programme 2025–2026, within the scope of the LINK – Leadership in Nursing Knowledge Exchange project.

The programme includes the participation of Prof. Victor Petreca from Boston College, as well as Professor Jaqueline Fawcett, as a guest speaker.

This initiative is part of a broader collaboration strategy between UCP and Boston College, which includes faculty and student mobility and the promotion of academic activities. The partnership is supported by FLAD, which encourages pedagogical innovation, internationalisation, and the exchange of knowledge between institutions of excellence.

The Winter School therefore represents an important milestone in the consolidation of transatlantic cooperation in the field of Nursing, contributing to the advancement of science and to the education of highly qualified professionals.
