As part of the development of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), Esther Navarro-Illana, a faculty member in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Universidad Católica de Valencia and co-coordinator of Mobility, Erasmus Exchange Programs, and International Relations, visited the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing (FCSE) at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto.
The meeting aimed to jointly build a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) as another internationalization opportunity for both faculty and students. During her visit on February 20, the professor was welcomed by Tânia Costa, faculty member and coordinator of Mobility and Internationalization at FCSE, in a meeting that also included the presence of Armando Almeida, faculty member at FCSE and coordinator of the Nursing degree at the School of Nursing in Porto.
“It is with great honor that we welcome faculty members from other universities, especially since the development of innovative and sustainable educational responses is always a valuable contribution, particularly when the mission and values shared by the institutions are aligned, as is the case in this collaboration between Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto and the Universidad Católica de Valencia,” said Tânia Costa.
This is yet another synergy contributing to the FCSE goal of establishing international partnerships that significantly enhance the curriculum of nursing students.
